When we started our wedding venue search we toured Scenic Springs and considered it for our ceremony and reception. We thought it was one of the best all-inclusive wedding venues in the San Antonio area, but weren’t sure if we wanted to go the all-inclusive route. We thought we could save money by contracting the services out on our own (pictures, music, band, reception coordinator, wedding planner, dinner, serving staff, etc.). This brief testimonial only scratches the surface of how
HUGE of a mistake this was.
We underestimated how much stress trying to locate vendors would be while we were trying to prepare for your wedding. It turned our wedding into a full time job of searching for good vendors and hoping they were affordable and available. Good vendors were impossible to determine, and we invariably chose wrong in some instances. Perfect example, our photographer took 8 months to get our wedding photos to us. In the end, we didn’t save any money over the cost of an all-inclusive venue, we had to gamble with the quality of service we received, and we brought unnecessary work and worry into our young relationship. The moral of the story being that there is untold value in utilizing an all-inclusive venue that has a relationship with their vendors.
